Op pag 315 onderaan staat een intermezzo. Daar is een verkeerde tekst terecht gekomen. De juiste tekst dient te zijn:
Een klein intermezzo. Het budget om onder de 1,5 graad te blijven, was in 2016 200 Gton, inmiddels (2019) nog maar ca 100 Gton. Hoeveel zonnepanelen kan je daarvan maken? Als we grofweg rekenen met 75 kg CO2 uitstoot per geproduceerde m2 zonnepaneel, en met 120 kWh opbrengst ( in NL) dan is daarmee 1,6x 10*14 kWh mee te produceren. De wereld verbruikt momenteel 157500 TWh, ofwel 1,575x 10*14 kWh. Vrijwel gelijk: met andere woorden: Als we alles op zonnecellen willen laten draaien, dan is ons totale CO2 budget om onder de 1,5 graad te blijven net genoeg om ze te produceren. Maar dan mogen we absoluut niets anders meer doen, totdat we die panelen hebben geproduceerd. Uiteraard, de hele infrastructuur en opslag ed. nog niet meegerekend. En ook de uitputting van grondstoffen zelf niet. Dit is een heel grove som, en om onder de twee graden te blijven ziet het er iets beter uit, maar het geeft aan over welke orde van grootte we het hebben. Dat gaat dus echt niet zonder drastisch ons energiegebruik cq. vraag te verminderen.
